When Westbury Baptist Church was considering starting a more contemporary service, they recognized a need to add screens to their Sanctuary. The Pastor and leadership team wanted to make sure that the end result would complement the architecture of the room and aesthetics of the worship space without compromising the sound of the pipe organ for the traditional service and the many concerts that are held at the church. The PGF Integrations solution was to take a holistic approach and provide not only screens to compliment the sanctuary, but to design a system that would enable them to change the aesthetics of the room to a more contemporary feel for the second service... The PGF solution included building beams that compliment the millwork of the
room and mount two 18 foot electric screens to the back side of the beams. In the pictures above, you
can see the Before and After pictures as well as the pre-construction
mock-ups we used to model the project for the church leadership. A big
thank you to James Mills at Crosswalk Construction for filling the General Contractor role in this project.
The system design includes two 8000 lumen 1080p projectors for main screens and a large balcony screen for a confidense monitor. The LED lighting upgrade gives the church designers the ability to transforming the worship space aesthetically with color and texture. Fixtures include LED par to provide adjustable focus LED color for the platform, moving head spot fixtures for feature and special effects lighting, and narrow spots for color up-lighting.
